Hidden Lecce

Lecce is famous for its Baroque monuments and architecture, but hides equally suggestive places and corners, rich in history and mysteries.

During our tour you visit an important archaeological site in the centre of Lecce, rediscovered by chance under the flooring of a house in 2001.

The remains date all the way back to the 5th century BC. You’ll visit as well the basement of a “Palazzo”, in the Jewish district, where sacred spaces of a synagogue were brought to light, during the renovation of the rooms.
