The tour starts from the Unesco site of Matera rich in art and history and ideal for urban trekking. You will explore the Park of the Rupestrian Churches, with its Gravina Canyon and Mediterranean scrub, on the path of prehistoric caves, Neolithic villages and rock hamlets with frescoed churches.
The adventure will continue in the Gallipoli Cognato Park, with its marvelous grassy plateau from where you can admire the wild landscapes of the Lucanian Dolomites, with the lovely villages of Pietrapertosa and Castelmezzano.
